TALENT INNOVATIONS FEEDBACK FORUM | MASTERCLASS
PROFOUND INSIGHTS | DEEP IMPACT
Elva Ainsworth & Caroline Katz
Masterclass working with resistance, blind spots & the Johari Window
Many leaders receive well-designed 360 feedback, yet genuine insight and sustained behaviour change remain limited. As practitioners, we often encounter defensiveness, rationalisation, or persistent blind spots — even when the data itself is robust and well-evidenced.
This small-group advanced practice lab (limited to 6–8 participants) was designed for experienced HR, OD, and independent practitioners who already work with 360 feedback and wanted to deepen their capability in the psychology of feedback — not just its interpretation.
The session was led by CAROLINE KATZ (Caz), Chartered Occupational Psychologist, with over 25 years’ experience in leadership feedback and development. Drawing on her pioneering psychodynamic doctoral research, Caz brought a rare depth of insight into how identity, defensiveness, and unconscious processes shape how feedback is received, resisted, or integrated.
Hosted by ELVA AINSWORTH, founder of Talent Innovations, with 30+ years’ experience designing and delivering 360 feedback for senior leaders across universities, professional services, and global organisations, including the UN system. Elva anchored the session in real-world 360 practice, helping participants translate psychological insight into practical application within organisational, consultancy, and executive contexts.
