Talent Innovations is delighted to congratulate the York Minster bellringing team on winning the 2026 National 12-Bell Striking Contest.
The annual event, widely regarded as the premier competition in English change ringing, was held at York Minster during the centenary year of its famous ring of 12 bells. Leading bands travelled from across the country, including Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Guildford, Leeds and London, to compete for the prestigious Taylor Trophy, with the home team delivering an outstanding performance to claim the title.

The contest also brought around 700 competitors, supporters and visitors to York, creating a wonderful atmosphere in the city centre as the magnificent Minster bells rang out throughout the day.
