The value of 360 degree feedback does not come without some risks and we work very hard to counter them:

  • The results are difficult to interpret
    Difficulty can arise as a result of poorly-formulated questions and capabilities, confusing ipsative data, and simplistic and cluttered reports. We use our extensive psychometric and statistical expertise to ensure the items are simple, sound and statistically robust. Our reports are packed full of powerful displays that help to draw the insights out of the data.
  • The report doesn’t lead to action
    Generating a meaningful development plan for the individual relies on drawing out the insights from the report and using these as a springboard to the next level of performance. We believe powerful coaching is the best way of achieving this, and our team of internationally-accredited coaches can deliver it.
  • The feedback might be litigious in content
    Occasionally, respondents to a survey can be somewhat personal when asked for open feedback.  Our 24 x 7 specialist bureau offers a unique service by reading all 360º reports and checking for potentially libelous, or grossly unhelpful comments. Our software has several features to support this, whether conducted by ourselves or by your administrators, including the facility to edit open text comments (whilst still retaining an audit trail of the original comments), spell-checking and capitalisation correction tools, and a unique display summarising all of the commonly-used words in the comments.
  • A new on-line survey may not meet tight deadlines
    We are renowned for our fast and flexible work.  We always deliver promised projects on time and to budget. We have been known to make last minute changes to surveys at night following a call from a client after 10pm.
  • The technology might not be reliable and secure
    We offer a money-back guarantee on server availability, and have passed the rigorous security demands of major financial organisations. Our questionnaires have ‘auto-save’, where the responses are saved every 5 minutes, ensuring that loss of data is minimal even when the user’s computer or network connection fails.
  • Participants fail to engage with the process
    By asking participants to add ‘personal questions’ to their survey, we increase their ownership of their 360º, and help them to embrace the opportunity for development that it offers.
